Senior/Residential Care Associate (Sunbeam Place)

General Duties Provide supervision, caregiving for their physical and psychological needs and guidance for the children and young persons (CYPs). To ensure the smooth running of the Home/dormitory by providing a healing/therapeutic, clean, safe and healthy living environment. Ensure residents attend school regularly. Adopting the Trauma - Informed care approach by rewarding and encouraging the residents to display good behaviour. Ensuring residents' needs are well taken care of. Any other admin tasks assigned by Reporting Officer. Promote social & emotional development for the residents Proactively design and Implement CYPs' daily activities via planned daily schedule to promote bonding and social development (e.g. to plan/support Home in Home activities and circle time that improve relationships between residents and RCA, and inject teachable moments and imparting of values in these activities).
