Service Designer - Senior (Calgary)

About the Role Our public sector client is seeking a Senior Service Designer for a 6‑month full‑time contract, with the possibility of up to a 12‑month extension. The Service Designer will be required on a full‑time basis (7.25‑hour work day, 36.25 hours per week) to focus on delivering data products with agility, emphasizing business outcomes, innovation, and transformation so that data is treated as a corporate asset. This role supports the Data Product Delivery team in defining scope, roadmap, design, prototyping, and product opportunities for the client and its external partners as needed.

The role improves access to and informed use of client data assets both within and outside the organization to support policy analysis, program planning, and decision‑making. It requires critical thinking across the organization and deeper analysis on data access, governance, and the data economy.
