Service Desk Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic switch / router configuration under supervision and perform tasks like port enabling / disabling, patching, or assigning VLANs.
• Support schedule maintenance such as assisting in planned network changes, software updates, or infrastructure upgrades.
• Perform regular maintenance tasks, including firmware updates, configuration backups, and hardware replacements.
• Collaborate with other IT teams and contractor to resolve complex technical problems.
• Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Coordinate with vendors, stakeholders, and other IT teams to ensure successful projectexecution.
• Work as part of a team and provide 24 x 7 support when required.
