Service Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair marine engines, auxiliary engines, steering systems, cargo pumps, and related shipboard equipment.
• Carry out repair works on inboard and outboard engines, including fuel, cooling, and exhaust systems.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure vessels and onboard systems operate safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping of the vessel and engine room when onboard.
• Prepare clear service reports and explain repair works and findings to customers when required.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety, operational, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate service records, including labour hours, parts used, and maintenance activities, using service management systems.
