Job Description

Responsibilities:

Ensure planned maintenance schedules are completed and assist artisans where required

Lead and coordinate boiler maintenance, inspections, and repairs

Maintain and repair boiler house machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation

Manage Boiler Attendants and Boiler Firemen

Conduct plant checks and attend to breakdowns promptly

Manage servicing and repairs of mechanical equipment in the services department

Record all work completed and report serious or unresolved defects

Carry out safety inspections, installations, and modifications as required

Requirements:
Minimum N6 in a mechanical field

Recognised Trade Test in Fitting / Fitting & Turning

John Thompson Boiler Attendant certificate (Advantageous)

5 years’ supervisory experience
