Service Technician Apprentice

POSITION SUMMARY: Birkey's Farm Store, in collaboration with approved institutions, offers a comprehensive Service Technician Apprenticeship. This program combines academic coursework with hands-on experience, preparing apprentices for a rewarding career in agricultural and construction equipment service. Participants will receive an Associate Degree in Applied Science upon completion of the program.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:


+ Learn how to inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and locate mechanical deficiencies on Heavy Equipment as assigned.

+ Learn proper use of diagnostic equipment. Participate in training sessions and complete assigned coursework related to equipment systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
