Service Technician

Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Service Technician, based in Germiston. The Service Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing pump equipment to ensure optimal performance. Duties will include diagnosing technical problems, providing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment failures, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The candidate will also be tasked with preparing detailed service reports and providing excellent customer service by addressing client concerns effectively.
Qualifications
Artisan Qualification or Diploma or Degree - Fitter and Turner or a Millwright
3 to 5 years' experience in a similar role or department
Valid Driver's License
Must be healthy and able to pass medical examinations required to be considered fit to enter a mine and go underground
Computer Literacy with strong excel and word skills
Good people communication skills
High level technical skills
