Job Purpose

The Service Technician is responsible for ensuring that valves and associated systems function correctly and meet industry standards before being deployed or put into service. This role involves testing valves in industrial systems, pipelines, water treatment, and oil & gas operations to ensure safe and efficient performance under various operating conditions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Valve Testing & Inspection

• Perform functional, pressure, leak, and cycle tests to verify proper valve operation.
• Inspect valves for damage, wear, or performance issues that may affect safety or efficiency.

2. Troubleshooting & Diagnosis

• Identify faults such as leakage, sticking, or pressure irregularities, and determine root causes.
• Assist in carrying out repair or replacement activities as directed by the Service Supervisor.
