Job Description

Lead the exploration of Earth's ancient ecosystems as a Sessional Lecturer I in Paleobiology at the University of Toronto Mississauga. This role involves course design and student engagement.
We are looking for a qualified individual to deliver the ERS411H5 course from September to December 2026. This position requires a Ph.D. in Earth Sciences and proven teaching excellence as you guide students through the intricacies of life's history over billions of years. You'll work with a class of 25 and contribute to shaping their academic experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design course curriculum and deliver lectures
• Create and grade assignments and exams
• Submit student grades accurately and on time
• Oversee teaching assistants during the course
• Hold office hours to support student learning
Requirements:
