Key Responsibilities

• Sewing and Assembly: Operate industrial or home sewing machines to join fabric pieces according to design specifications, ensuring accurate and high-quality garment construction.
• Pattern Interpretation: Read and interpret sewing patterns, product specifications, and measurements to guide assembly and alterations.
• Alterations and Repairs: Perform garment alterations, repairs, and finishing touches, including stitching hems, attaching buttons, zippers, and other fasteners.
• Machine Maintenance: Maintain sewing machines by cleaning, oiling, and performing minor repairs to ensure smooth operation.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished garments for defects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and correcting any issues.
• Collaboration: Work with team members in production settings to meet daily or weekly production goals.
