Job Description

Position Summary
This position oversees the crew in the repair and construction of manholes and storm drains as well as being the premier participant in the process. This position reports to a Crew Lead. 
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Operate equipment and monitor all other activity and staff associated with the repair and construction of manholes and catch basins.

Responsible for the servicing, set-up modifications, and clean-up of equipment such as compressors, front-end loaders, skid steers, trucks and boom hoists.

Assess the grade sheet designs, ensure the locations of underground utilities, and assess environmental conditions during the construction process.

Schedule and co-ordinate the crew, in conjunction with the Crew Lead.

Identify problems with existing grade levels, structural deficiencies, and compaction process and recommend corrective measures.
