SG Chartering Manager

Our client is a well-established Chinese owner-operator with a strong footprint in the dry bulk market. As part of their commercial expansion in Asia, they are seeking a Chartering Manager to be based in Singapore, focusing on Handy and Supramax tonnage in the external market.
The Role
This is a commercially driven role focused on fixing cargo and sourcing suitable external tonnage (not limited to the company's owned fleet). You will actively develop cargo flow and manage third-party vessel employment, optimising margins and building long-term market relationships.
You'll work closely with regional and HQ stakeholders while operating with a high level of commercial autonomy.
What You'll Be Doing
Fixing dry bulk vessels (cargo and tonnage)
Managing chartering enquiries and negotiating fixture terms
Liaising with brokers, owners, and clients globally
Analysing market conditions and advising on strategy
