Sheet Metal Workers NOC 7233

Read and interpret technical plans. Build basic models if necessary. Measure and draw cuts and bends.

Install metalworking machinery including rollers, drill presses, flame arrester, brakes and shears. Double check design specifications before starting cutting work. Manufacture and construction of metal structures.

Requirements High School Diploma or GED. Completed a metalworker apprenticeship program. Completion of an Steel Erection Safety course or similar preference.

Valid driving license. Possibility to use cranes and other lifting equipment. Excellent knowledge of construction equipment such as laser levels, power tools, welding equipment and pulley systems.
