Shift Engineer / Multi Skilled Engineer

About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong mechanical bias to join a fast-growing science and technology organisation in Oxford.
The role will support the smooth operation of a complex research campus, including laboratory, office, and specialist technical environments. You will be responsible for maintaining mechanical, electrical, and building systems, ensuring safe, compliant, and reliable operation across the estate.
Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across mechanical, electrical, and building systems
Diagnose faults and deliver effective repairs to plant, equipment, and infrastructure
Maintain and optimise mechanical systems including HVAC, AHUs, pumps, boilers, and associated building services
Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues
Support installation, commissioning, and modification of systems and equipment
