Shift Manager Maintenance

Cleveland-Cliffs has an immediate opening for a Shift Manager Coarse Crusher Maintenance at our Northshore Mining Company facility located in Babbitt, MN. The primary responsibility of this position will be to direct and monitor the workforce associated with the Coarse Crusher and Facility Maintenance. This will include direct supervision and leadership toward the execution and compliance to predictive, planned, and/or break in work schedules.


Summary of Responsibilities:
+ Create and promote a positive working atmosphere in order to safely and efficiently execute the goals of the field maintenance plan.
+ Be a champion of safety – through safety interactions, safety meetings and by example.
+ Conduct weekly safety and information meetings within area.
+ Coach, direct and develop the work of the Coarse Crusher and Facility technicians to meet and exceed safety and productivity expectations.
