Shift Manager

About the Role

The Shift Manager is responsible for managing and organizing work activities of the department per shift and coordinating with other ATI operating units in effectively implementing terminal operations procedures and system.

Key Accountabilities

• Oversees day to day activities of vessel & yard operations and coordinates with other operating units that may affect vessel & yard operations ensuring minimum possible ship turnaround time and truck turnaround time.
• Coordinates with the Planning Manager in preparing the placement of berth markings (bridge stop) on the assigned berths of arriving vessel as specified in the Daily Berthing Order Summary (DBOS) and Container Freight Station (CFS) work plan.
• Coordinates with the Berth Management Office in informing the attending Harbor Pilot is properly informed of the berth mark prior to vessel docking either by telephone or marine radio.
