shift mechanic

Repairs and troubleshoots abnormalities of engines, centrifuge, compressors and other auxiliaries;

Undertakes mechanical  maintenance work during preventive maintenance schedule, scheduled and unscheduled repair of engines and auxiliaries;

Reconditions engine parts such as cylinder liners, piston, cylinder heads, exhaust valve gauge, inlet/exhaust valve stem;

Prepares tools, spare parts and materials needed for the scheduled repair work;

Does visual inspection of all mechanical equipment in operations, checks conditions, lubricates bearings of various auxiliaries and other rotating parts if necessary;

Disassembles and assembles compressor units, pumps, centrifuges and other related service equipment;

Performs housekeeping of the mechanical equipment rooms and the plant surroundings;

Performs other related duties as assigned.
