Shipping Assistant

Job Function:
Support co-ordination and administration of inbound and outbound shipments. The role focuses on timely documentation, compliance with customs and regulatory requirements, and effective coordination with internal teams and external service providers and basic shipment follow ups to enable smooth movement of goods.
Key Accountabilities
Assist in coordinating inbound and outbound shipments.
Support the preparation, verification, and submission of import documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Follow up with relevant approval and regulatory bodies to ensure timely approval of import documentation.
Liaise with clearing agents and customs officials to facilitate smooth and timely clearance of shipments.
Track shipment movements and provide accurate shipment status updates to the relevant internal team.
Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure proper scheduling of shipment arrivals, receiving, and storage.
