About the role

GTL MARITIME (M) SDN BHD is seeking an experienced Shipping Executive to join our team in the Bandar Rimbayu, Selangor. This full-time role will provide crucial support to our dynamic import/export and customs operations, ensuring the efficient and compliant handling of all shipping activities.

What you'll be doing

1. Coordinate and process all import and export shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations
2. Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs authorities to ensure timely and accurate delivery of shipments
3. Monitor shipment progress and provide regular updates to customers and internal stakeholders
4. Assist with the preparation and submission of relevant trade reports and compliance filings
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date shipping records and databases
6. Provide administrative support to the broader logistics and operations team as needed
