Job Description
Arrange bookings with shipping lines or carriers for cargo to be transported via sea. Coordinate closely with suppliers, customers, and various internal departments and warehouse team to ensure smooth cargo flow and timely shipments.
Prepare and manage all relevant documentation for sea freight shipments, including shipping instructions, customs documents, letter of credit and any other necessary paperwork.
Arrange timely collections / dispatch according to customer's request.
Monitor the progress of sea freight shipments in real-time, providing regular updates to stakeholders. Address any delays or issues promptly and take corrective actions and pre-alerts to customers.
Ensure timely billing and accuracy of the invoices.
Attend and responds on customer's inquiries.
