Job Description

Summary:
The shipping/receiving associate verifies shipping and receiving and files for processing all shipping and receiving records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Picks and/or properly stores inventory items in correct location on warehouse floor or shelving.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Records and enters shipping & receiving transaction based on picklists signed off by shipping packers.
Enters stock transfers (by location & site).
Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
Cycle counting (with warehouse supervisor / managers) instructions - selected items or locations and reconciles variances & discrepancies.
Picks and/or shelves inventory items per packing list and/or work order instructions.
