Job Description

Position Overview:
Under the direction of the Materials Manager, the Shipping and Receiving Team Lead has working knowledge of relevant shipping, receiving and material handling processes. Responsible for ensuring we are fulfilling our commitments of quality and on time delivery to our customers, both internal and external. This role is proficient at ERP transactions (“Visual” a plus) and understands material flow throughout the facility. Lead and oversee all shipping and receiving operations to ensure efficient material flow, accurate inventory management and timely delivery of products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily shipping and receiving activities, including inbound raw materials and outbound finished goods.
Coordinate with production teams to prioritize shipments based on manufacturing schedules
Schedules outbound freight and complete associated paperwork.
