Job Description
Our growing Mississauga client is looking for a Shop Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4-5 years related experience within a heavy machinery environment. You must also have a valid G license and clean drivers abstract. The following are the responsibilities:
Essential Job Functions
Maintain a detailed inventory of all spare parts and materials on hand at the shop and offsite storage yard.
Source and secure parts, materials & equipment required to ensure continuous operations based on consultation with construction team.
Create and maintain inventory onsite for all consumables required for normal operations; coordinated with site leads to ensure weekly restocking.
In consultation with the team, create detailed mobilization plan for each piece of equipment, including detailed transportation plan, to ensure consistent and efficient movement of equipment to and from all job sites.
