Shop Technician I - 1 Year Temporary Contract

Primary Role Focus
Complete assigned departmental tasks in a safe and timely manner while maintaining quality standards. This role reports to the Team Lead (MX General).

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

+ Follow all Packers Plus policies and procedures

+ Ensure compliance with Packers Plus Health and Safety Program

+ Partner with Team Lead and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) for documentation of incidents or safety concerns

+ Attend daily department meetings for communication of the day’s activities, safety updates, and awareness

+ Monitor shop equipment and ensure completion of all preventative maintenance and inspections

+ Perform day-to-day and any assigned tasks with team

+ Complete and be proficient in tasks and roles outlined in OJT (On Job Training) for the assigned role and department(s)

+ Communicate status of projects and tasks to Team Lead
