Job Duties Job Duties The Simulation Centres prepare health care learners for clinical practice by building their competence and confidence through participation in realistic experiences. The Centres create a wide variety of situations, which translate into better care for patients when students graduate and enter their chosen field.
As a Simulation Assistant, you would be responsible to:
1. Prepare high-quality simulations, including visual, auditory, and tactile components, to enhance student learning outcomes across health-related programs.
2. Set up, calibrate, and dismantle medical simulation labs and mannequins; prepare and maintain equipment and supplies for various medical skill exercises. e.g. instillation of fluid compartments of simulators, dressing bundles, simulated sutures, wound care simulators, heat sealed instruments.
