Job Description
The Flight Simulator Technician II is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting high‑fidelity flight simulators to ensure availability, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on simulators and associated systems
+ Diagnose and correct routine and intermediate-level technical issues on simulators and supporting systems
+ Assist with advanced troubleshooting and corrective actions as needed
+ Perform daily pre‑flight and post‑flight checks on assigned simulators
+ Conduct visual alignments and in‑depth visual system adjustments
+ Run, analyze, and evaluate Qualification Test Guide (QTG) results
+ Support simulator refurbishments and hardware modifications
+ Utilize the maintenance management system to document, track, and close maintenance activities
+ Train and mentor technicians in basic technical skills and standard procedures
