About This Role
About the RoleCAE is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Simulator Technician III to join our Perth team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of simulator performance, supporting training operations, and mentoring junior technicians. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to world-class aviation training in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Simulator Technician III, you will:
+ Perform advanced troubleshooting and corrective maintenance on simulators and associated systems.
+ Conduct preventive maintenance and visual alignments to ensure optimal simulator performance and regulatory compliance.
+ Execute and evaluate FAA Approval Test Guide (ATG) and Qualification Test Guide (QTG) procedures.
+ Lead and coordinate shift activities in collaboration with technical management, Group Leader, and Maintenance Planner & Controller.
