Job Summary:

The Site Cost Engineer is responsible for preparing, monitoring, and controlling project budgets, cost estimates, and financial reports to ensure that all project costs are accurately tracked and maintained within approved limits. This role supports decision-making by providing detailed cost analysis, forecasts, and recommendations throughout the project lifecycle.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Control of Approved Project Budget:

• Validation of cost-related request items.
• Recording and monitoring of project expenses and savings, including overhead.
• Re-alignment of project cost as may be required.
• Projection of project cost at completion and savings.

Validates Contractors' Billing:

• Checks the completeness of all attachments required.
• Scrutiny of cost-related documents to ensure that the same is valid for the item/s being billed.

Preparation of Variation Orders:
