Overview

The Opportunity Our client is a well-established main contractor who requires an experienced Commercial Site Manager to support one of their key projects in Auckland on a contract/temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can step onto a live site, take control quickly, and keep the programme moving.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations and subcontractor coordination
• Maintain a safe, compliant, and well-documented site
• Monitor progress against programme and escalate issues early
• Oversee quality assurance, inspections, and defect management
• Work closely with the Project Manager, engineers, and wider delivery team
• Ensure materials, trades, and logistics are well-organised
• Resolve on-site challenges and keep the project on track
