MEI Construction & Services is a South African based multi-disciplined industrial contractor specialising in SMPP, EC&I and Solar construction.

Duties & Responsibilities

• +5 years of construction and management experience in HV substations and transmission lines.
• Commissioned at least 3 HV substations connected to HV transmission lines.
• Supervised the construction and commissioning of at least 2 HV substations.
• Qualification to be required on either, Pr CPM or Pr Eng (will be an advantage).
• Project/Construction management certificate.
• N3 Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Certificate (will be an advantage).
• Registered with a professional occupational council.
• Solid background in commissioning and back energizing protocols.
• Experience in South Africa and knowledgeable with local grid codes.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
