The Detroit Site Manager ensures optimal performance of the site to achieve customer expectations in a safe and cost-effective manner.
Responsible for compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.
Establishes and maintains the local Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Management systems. Responsible for all safety within the plant with the goal of Zero LTI’s.
Maintains indirect responsibility for all non-operational areas like Finance, Information Systems, Procurement, Quality Assurance and Human Resources.
Implements the general strategies, policies, and directives of Quaker Houghton.
Manager is responsible for personnel management (union and non-union):
Maintaining correct personnel organization and manpower requirements.
Ensure proper training.
Creation of optimal working conditions.
