Site Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

• Schedule and monitor real-time trading systems
• Monitor open and close of markets as it relates to the system
• Reduce the number of trading hiccups
• Monitor and escalates real-time system alerts
• Handle any triage for the trade system
• Diagnose and resolve system issues
• Provide updates to the options desk team
• Coordinate resolution calls with vendors and traders
• Escalate production issues
• Follow and solve for regulatory testing for trading environment
• Deliver and maintain high quality information
• Python scripting automation

Requirements

• 2+ years of IT experience needed
• Experience working in a Linux environment
• Good knowledge of Unix
• Good understanding of TCP/IP and UDP networking applications
• Basic understanding of network routing and troubleshooting
