SUMMARY:
Well established engineering consultancy is looking for a Site Technician with good knowledge of FIDIC Red Book, and experience in managing contractual letters, report writing, compliance with the contract, drafting of claims etc for an industrial project in Richards Bay.
The position is for a 2 year contract to start ASAP.
POSITION INFO:
Requirements:
National Diploma or BTech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
Knowledge in FIDIC Red Book
Experience of site management
Duties include:
Attending to FIDIC Red Book contractual matters
Manage all contractual letters, early warnings etc.
Drafting and submitting the fortnightly and monthly reports, i.e. progress reports, look ahead reports...
Ensure compliance with the contract
Attend weekly site meetings
Drafting of claims
