Slitting Assistant

Description

Winpak Division is seeking a Slitting Assistant to join the Slitting Department based out of Winnipeg on the 8-hour rotating shift. In this role you will assist the operators in the safe operation of the slitters and ensure quality and production are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Operators with the preparation of orders.
• Assist the Operators with the running of the slitter with emphasis on the manual aspects associated with the operation of the machine.
• Assist with simple routine maintenance on the machines.
• Operate the doctoring machine
• Operate forklift and/or pallet jack equipment to move materials within the department.
