Job Description

Our client, an Australian gold mining company, is currently seeking a Senior Underground Mining Engineer for their flagship Western Australian operation.
Requirements:
Tertiary level Mining Engineering degree;
Western Australian First Class Manager's Certificate;
Western Australian 'C' Class Drivers License;
Experience in Deswik and Surpac or an equivalent software design package;
Competence and confidence to lead an underground engineering team across all production, ventilation, planning, and scheduling activities.
 Position Duties:
Develop schedules and short-term mine plans for underground operation;

Review drill & blast designs, liaising with mining personnel to ensure mine plans are executed efficiently and safely;

Daily, weekly and monthly reporting against budget;

Oversee the day-to-day production output of the Mining team;
