Job Description
Amentum is seeking a Small Engine Mechanic to join our team on Andros Island, Bahamas to support the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) mission. This position is reserved for Bahamian citizens only. Must be a citizen of the Bahamas.
Essential Responsibilities:
Maintain, repair, and service small engines found in various equipment. This includes diagnosing issues, performing routine maintenance, and making necessary repairs to ensure the equipment runs safely and efficiently.
Maintain all small engine equipment in the Supply Tool Crib, Boat Yard, and Ball Field Lawnmower Sheds and Site-2 Navy Base.
Report directly to the Roads & Grounds Manager.
Identify and diagnose problems with engines, including electrical, mechanical, and fuel system issues.
