Snubber Tech II (Full Time)

**Overview**

Element has an opportunity for a **Snubber Technician II** in our Huntsville, AL lab. In this role, you will be responsible for performing tests and/or measurement tasks for the Nuclear Snubber department. Nuclear Snubber: Testing and rebuilding of snubber devices at nuclear power plants during outages.

Salary: $72,800.00 - $93,600.00/yr DOE

**Responsibilities**

• Removal and Reinstallation - Removes and reinstalls snubbers
• Perform Testing - Performs qualification, acceptance testing and RND testing for nuclear customers
• Maintenance - Maintains and rebuilds snubbers
• Under close supervision, able to complete basic technical and mechanical procedures including basic testing and maintenance on snubbers
• Some interaction with clients
• Able to assist with basic troubleshooting and basic interpretation and analysis of test results
