SOC Analyst

Job Summary

As a SOC Analyst, you are the first line of defense. You will monitor security alerts from our SIEM, IDS/IPS and EDRto triagealert, analyze logs and respond to security incidents (malware, phishing, intrusions) across 24/7 security operations. Performing initial investigations to distinguish between false positives and genuine threats. You will follow established playbooks to contain basic incidents and escalate complex cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Real-Time Monitoring: Continuously monitor the SIEM/EDR for security events.
• Alert Triage: Perform initial analysis of alerts to determine severity and impact.
• Investigation: Conduct log correlation (TCP/IP, DNS,HTTP/S)
• Incident Response: Execute standard playbooks for common threats (e.g., phishing, unauthorized logins, malware).
