Duties Description Greater Binghamton Health Center (GBHC) is recruiting for Social Work Assistant Trainee to provide case management and service coordination activities for individuals with mental illness. Candidates from outside or within State Service can apply.

As a Social Work Assistant Trainee at GBHC, you will work with an interdisciplinary team and duties will include:

• Willing and able to drive to Family Care homes in the Bronx and other appointments using a state vehicle
• Interviewing individuals and their families to gather background information
• Preparing case histories and determining eligibility for services
• Advocating and assisting individuals in identifying and obtaining services
