Social Worker (Waitakere Hospital)

Part‑time (0.5FTE) position on acute medical wards and weekend roster to work in the Emergency Department.

Role Overview

Provide bio‑psycho‑social assessments and therapeutic social work interventions with inpatients. Work within a multi‑disciplinary team, centring on clients and their whānau, with emphasis on counselling, grief and loss support, and culturally responsive practice.
