Your Opportunity:

The RGH is a metropolitan hospital with over 600 inpatient beds. It is also the main site for urology and ophthalmology specialties. RGH is located next to the scenic Glenmore Reservoir in Southwest Calgary. RGH Social Work works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary teams in the Emergency Department, ICU/CCU, Medical/Surgical Units, Transition Units, and Maternal/Child Units. This position is based in the Emergency Department, and offers an opportunity to work as part of a dynamic team where operational needs require flexibility to work across multiple portfolios. You will have a proven ability to work effectively within a patient-centered and interdisciplinary team environment. Your assessment and critical thinking skills will be necessary to guide your work with complex family situations and system issues while also being able to support families through a myriad of circumstances.
