Social Worker II (LMFT/LCSW/LPCC) - Behavioral Health Urgent Care

**This is a casual position with an end date of 06/30/2027.**

Behavioral Health Urgent Care is looking to hire a part-time licensed therapist to work walk-in shifts, Monday through Friday from 2:00pm-6:00pm.

_Behavioral Health Urgent Care Mission: To provide prompt access to crisis intervention support and linkage to community resources. To support the safety and stabilization of youth in the Mid-City region in a way that reduces emergency room visits and hospitalizations._

Overview

Rady Children’s Behavioral Health Urgent Care serves youth ages 5-21 struggling with concerns that pose an imminent risk to their safety, the safety of others, or significantly impair their daily lives.

We see youth experiencing the following concerns:

+ Suicidal thoughts
+ Homicidal thoughts
+ Intentional self-harm (cutting, burning, etc.)
+ Psychotic thinking
+ Severe depression and/or anxiety
