The Sturgeon Social Work Department is seeking a Team Lead with a heart for practice excellence spanning a range of clinical settings including the ED, Women’s Health, NICU, Critical Care areas, Surgery, Medicine and Ambulatory Clinics. This position will also support Edmonton Suburban Hospital SW staff where there are varied practice needs and provide coverage and support to the Glenrose Hospital SW team. Supporting primarily inpatient environments, the SW TL is responsible for the day-to-day leadership, supervision, and coordination of staff, programs, and services related to SW practice. The TL supports Social Workers to provide high quality and safe care through supervision by understanding and applying relevant standards, legislation, policy, ethics, and guidelines.
