This position involves thorough assessment of allegations of abuse/neglect of children and vulnerable adults. Professionals in this role assess immediate safety concerns as well as potential risks, collaborating with other community professionals and law enforcement as needed. Successful applicants must possess strong observational and analytical skills, as well the ability to respectfully engage families as partners in planning for safety. At times, this position requires arranging for foster care/relative care for children unable to remain in the parental home.
