Software Asset Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Software Asset Manager to lead software asset governance across an enterprise IT environment. This role focuses on ensuring accurate inventories, license compliance, and cost optimisation, while supporting audit readiness and informed procurement decisions. What You’ll Be Doing

• Own and maintain software asset management (SAM) policies, standards, and processes.
• Manage software license compliance, including interpreting agreements, assessing risk, and supporting audits.
• Maintain a trusted software inventory across on‑prem, virtual, and cloud environments.
• Analyze software usage to identify optimisation, cost‑saving, and licence reclamation opportunities.
• Support procurement, renewals, and contract negotiations with accurate usage and forecasting data.
