Job Description

The role
As part of our Defence Delivery group, the Software Engineer will contribute to the development of the Saab 9LV Combat Management System, a naval command and control system that integrates sensors, weapons, and data to provide situational awareness and decision support for maritime operations. This role works within an agile development team under the guidance of senior engineers, applying modern software testing techniques to verify the operation of this large, complex, mission‑essential, and safety‑critical software system.
Further, the successful candidate will:
Develop test plans, test cases, and test automations to support project deliverables and internal reviews.
Support the design and development of the test automation framework.
Maintain test environments and builds under test.
Provide test support to Software Development and Software Integration Teams.
