Software Engineer - Kernel Fundamental Technologies (Waterford Office or Brno Office)

Red Hat’s Kernel Fundamental Technologies (KFT) Team is looking for a Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, your work will support the direction of technology at the core of Linux kernel and Red Hat Enterprise Linux. You will be part of a team focused on kernel development and testing to include both kernel and user space packages. Most of the work is centered around Linux Kernel development, implementation, and defect work upstream and downstream. As a Software Engineer, you will also work collaboratively across engineering, quality, integration, documentation, and product teams in support of Red Hat Enterprise Linux releases.

What you will do

+ Extend and improve the existing Input-Output Memory Management Unit (IOMMU) code base
+ Work with colleagues to determine IOMMU implementation in RHEL releases
+ Perform design, implementation, and review of Linux kernel code
+ Participate in the broader upstream Linux community
