Software Engineer, Platform & Infrastructure

ABOUT THE ROLE Spellbook is seeking a generalist Platform and Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. In this role, you’ll work across our entire technical stack—from infrastructure (AWS, MongoDB, infrastructure as code, Datadog, CI/CD) to platform capabilities that enable product development and system reliability. You’ll be instrumental in building the technical foundations that enable Spellbook to scale and deliver magical experiences to our customers.

As a Platform and Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll be a critical member of our small but mighty engineering team of 20 developers (and growing). You’ll work on the foundational systems that power our product, with a focus on three key areas:

Building technology foundations:

Own and evolve foundational platform systems (for example: identity and access, core data models, and internal platform capabilities)
