Mō te tūranga mahi – about the role

As a Software Engineer in our Technology&Data team, you will help develop and integrate the specialised applications that keep the GCSB and NZSIS running smoothly. Working hand-in-hand with stakeholders, you will turn customer ideas into clear design plans, pick the right commercial or partner tools, and weave them together so everything works seamlessly. If an off-the-shelf option isn’t a good fit, you will enjoy getting creative—building new features or components, sketching out testing and user‑acceptance steps, and keeping an eye on emerging tech that could make our work even better.
