Software Engineering Associate

The purpose of this role is to develop and maintain simple to moderately complex software programs and scripts under the guidance of a Software Engineer, ensuring adherence to agreed specifications, standards, and tools.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the Software Engineer to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and legislation.
• Develop and implement systems according to signed-off documents from the BA/QA.
• Respond to issues referred by team members and assist with their resolution.
• Coordinate with the Software Engineer to ensure consistency with security standards.
• Coordinate with the Software Engineer to provide regular updates to the Applications Development Manager.
• Undertake any other relevant duties as determined by the Lead/Senior Software Engineer.
• Learn new development methodologies and initiatives.
